Another day, another project launch at FHM! Truly though, I am STOKED to announce our launch of THE TRIBE! Here at Flourishing Heart, our heart, passion, and desire is to see you flourish in your life. The focus of our magazine has been to speak worth and value into the lives of young women. For in order to flourish, you need to know and be confident in your identity - in your own skin. And this is important.
But we also believe that too much focus on SELF can be dangerous. When we become exclusively concerned with ourselves, we become blind to the needs of others. At some point, we need to look beyond ourselves and realise that love is not self-seeking, but it seeks after the interests of others.
Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others." PHILIPPIANS 2:4

So we created THE TRIBE. Its very purpose is to encourage, equip and empower YOU to be the change in the world. We are all about 4 things in particular: kindness, generosity, hospitality, and community - and everything we do comes back to these 4 values.
THE TRIBE is a movement; a community of people who are passionate about living for something bigger than themselves. So what do we do? Well, it all boils down to 3 simple things: MY TRIBE (our online member platform), TRIBE PROJECTS, and TRIBE EVENTS.
On our member platform, you will find resources and ideas to bring these values to life in your everyday life. Whether it's saying hello to your next-door neighbours, creating a beautiful picnic space for you and your friends, or partnering with an organisation you're passionate about, the online platform is the place for you!
At TRIBE PROJECTS, you will find all the organisations we are currently partnering with for a specific project. Our first TRIBE PROJECT is Operation Christmas Child, which is run by Samaritan's Purse. The idea is to fill shoeboxes with Christmas gifts, and these are then shipped overseas to developing countries in remote areas and given to children who have never received a Christmas present. We're big believers in working TOGETHER for a common cause. So, as a community, our goal is to fill 50 shoeboxes to give to these children and contribute to this project. Keep an eye out for more projects to come!
And finally, at TRIBE EVENTS, you will find all the information you need to join us as we gather together around many different causes throughout the year.
The team and I hope that you're just as excited as we are and will be encouraged and inspired to bring positive change to this world.
